Formula 1 is set to mark a monumental milestone in 2025 - its 75th anniversary - and what better way to celebrate than with a spectacular global event? Enter F1 75 Live, a first-of-its-kind season launch that will bring together all ten teams, their drivers, and Team Principals under one roof for an unforgettable evening.

Taking place on February 18, 2025, at The O2 in London, this historic event will blend motorsport, entertainment, and innovation, giving fans an exclusive first look at the 2025 season like never before.

Here’s everything you need to know about the biggest pre-season spectacle in Formula 1 history.

A Historic Gathering

For the first time, all ten teams; Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, RB, Red Bull and Williams will gather under one roof. This means fans will get an exclusive first look at the 2025 liveries, team personnel, and driver pairings. The event will feature live interviews with key figures, providing insights into their hopes and aspirations for the upcoming season.

Unlike traditional, individual car launches, F1 75 Live offers a unified season launch experience, so fans can follow all their favourite teams' launch in real time  without worrying about which launch to prioritise when, as happened in the past, the launch schedules of different Formula 1 teams clashed.

A Collaborative Production

The team behind bringing "F1 75 Live" to life are creative visionaries renowned for their work in the entertainment industry. Brian Burke of Brian Burke Creative leads the production, collaborating with Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and production company 1826. This ensemble previously produced the innovative opening and closing ceremonies for the 2023 inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, ensuring that attendees can expect a world-class experience.

Event Highlights

The event will run from 8 PM to 10 PM GMT, packing two hours full of engaging interviews, entertainment, and exclusive content. While the main highlight is the official launch of the 2025 F1 season, fans can also expect:

·         Live conversations with drivers and Team Principals.

·         Behind-the-scenes content and insights into the teams’ development processes.

·         Special guest presenters from the world of motorsport and entertainment.

·         Dynamic entertainment celebrating the sport’s history and future.

Ticket Information

Tickets for this groundbreaking, once-in-a-lifetime event went on sale on November 15, 2024, and demand was nothing short of extraordinary. In mere moments, tickets were snatched up at lightning speed, leaving countless disappointed fans empty-handed. But with seating location subject to tiered pricing at The O2 arena, a few fortunate fans were able to secure premium seats for this historic occasion.

Good News for Fans Without Tickets

Given the number of fans who lost out, in not getting tickets for the event and in recognition of the worldwide nature of their fan base, Formula 1 in their wisdom have said that the event will be live streamed and/or be made available for viewing, in each geographical region, through their local broadcast partner.

Whilst no details for streaming have been issued, at the time of writing this blog, the most realistic scenario would be for streaming to be made available via the Formula 1 official YouTube channel – you can fund it at https://www.youtube.com/@Formula1

Looking Ahead

As the countdown to February 18 continues, excitement within the Formula 1 community is palpable. "F1 75 Live" represents more than just a season launch, it symbolizes the rich history and enduring passion that has defined Formula 1 for over seven decades. Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting this event, anticipating not only the unveiling of new cars and driver line-ups but also a celebration of the sport's storied legacy.

In conclusion, "F1 75 Live" at The O2 is poised to be a landmark event in the annals of motorsport. By bringing together all ten teams, their drivers and key personnel, Formula 1 is offering fans an unparalleled experience that will honour the past whilst at the same time looking forward to the future. As the sport celebrates its 75th anniversary, this event serves as a testament to the innovation, excitement, and community that continues to drive Formula 1's global appeal.
